Larry's obsession with magic began with his first magic set at age 7 and he hasn't stopped since. By age 13, he performed his first professional magic show. In high school, Larry worked as the house magician for an ice-cream parlor in New York City, and continued performing private magic shows through college and graduate school, successfully avoiding ever having a real job.

Recently, Larry has been an instructor at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh NC for a class entitled "The Art of Magic", which is a course in "sleight of hand", and presently serves as an advisor and mentor to the Magic Youth International for the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
