Larry Maitin is a Raleigh North Carolina Magician Specializing in Strolling Close-Up and Parlor Magic.
Magician Larry Maitin performs close up magical demonstrations for weddings, corporate events, family affairs, birthday parties, festivals, restaurant promotions, business promotions, bar/bat mitzvahs, cocktail and dinner parties, or any occassion that can use a magic touch.
Now based out of Raleigh NC, Larry has been performing and teaching magic for over 25 years and specializes in creating entertaining and memorable experiences of the impossible!
Larry's obsession with magic began with his first magic set at age 7 and he hasn’t stopped since. By age 13, he performed his first professional magic show. In high school, Larry worked as the house magician for an ice-cream parlor in New York City, and continued performing private magic shows through college and graduate school, successfully avoiding ever having a real job.
Recently, Larry has been an instructor at Raleigh NC Wake Technical Community College for a class entitled "The Art of Magic," which is a course on “sleight of hand”, and presently serves as an advisor and mentor to the Magic Youth International for the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
Today Magician Larry Maitin resides in Raleigh NC and continues to regularly perform close up and parlor magic, creating for his audiences an entertaining experience of the impossible.
